Be aware that the new security system is re-activated and you may need to arm and disarm the system when entering and exiting the building.

As you enter or leave you:

Push the CMD (Command) key to activate the system.

The screen will then ask you if you want to ARM or DISARM the system. 

Push the key below thee ARM or DISARM display on the LCD display depending on whether you are entering or leaving the building. 

Please check to make sure you are the last person in the building before arming the security system.  If their is activity in the building or if an exterior door is ajar the system will not allow you to activate the alarm. 

After selecting ARM or DISARM, you will enter your security passcode and push the CMD key to enter your number and complete the process. 

Upon exiting the building, ARMing the system will result in a timed countdown for you to exit the building before the alarm activates.  If you enter and the alarm is activated, you will hear the countdown before the alarm will sound if you do not enter in your passcode.  After entering your passcode the LCD screen will display the time and date.

If you set off the alarm, Vector Security will call the church before dispatching the police.  There is a phone in the kitchen on the wall.  You will need to identify yourself and give the separate verbal password to stop them from engaging the police.  If you have questions, please call Martin Shorter for further information.  If you do not have Martin’s number, the office can put you in touch with him.
